The students of Christ College Vizhinjam voluntarily and enthusiastically participated in the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education program (MGNCRE) hosted in association with IQAC. To contribute as responsible active members of the program, the members were given a very resourceful and enlightening introductory session about the same. Terms like refurbishing, basal convection, E waste, the Three R’s shouldn’t be just limited to the syllabus of papers and caged in inked books. The main aim of MGNCRE is to provide a stable and meaningful wording to such terms and familiarize these topics to the responsible citizens of tomorrow.

With the guidance of Resource Advisor Ms. Malavika B.M, Asst. Professor, Department of English and Resource consultant Ms. Varna Sabu V, Asst Professor, Department of Commerce, the resource session was incredibly fruitful to the new members who would soon work tirelessly as the backbone of this program on behalf of the college. Subjects like introduction to the events, schedules, plans, aim and objectives were discussed with two sided conversations towards the audience and the resource committee present there. Students chimed in their suggestions and comments about how to improve the college environment and help make the campus a green campus. The working and planning of the different levels of subordinates and authoritative initiatives were taken into consideration and discussed in detail with the participants. The event was held at the venue of Audio Visual Room, Christ College Vizhinjam, on the date of 8 August 2023. The event commenced by 12 Pm and renounced at 1.30 Pm.
