On the occasion of World Aids Day, 2023, observed annually on December 1st, a rally was organized by the NSS unit of Christ College, Vizhinjam in association with the Venganoor Grama Panchayath and the Community Health Centre, Vizhinjam. The rally started at 9:00 am. All the NSS volunteers from Semester 1 and 3 who participated in the event reached Azhakulam from the college on time. The rally was from Azhakulam to Vizhinjam. The participants carried a red ribbon during the rally. The coordinators really helped and the volunteers brought pluck cards with awareness slogans to spread the awareness to the mass.

The main purpose behind organizing the rally was to show all our support and to raise awareness among the society, especially the younger generation about the global epidemic of AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) and the spread of HIV (Human Immuno Deficiency Virus). This initiative helped in fostering a sense of community responsibility.

The rally was organized beautifully and it worked well with the help of the organizers, coordinators and volunteers. Refreshment was provided to all the members who took part in the rally and it came to an end at 11:00 AM.
