Digi Kerala: Voluntary Training on Implementation of Total Digital Literacy Project”

The Gram Panchayat of Venganoor, in association with the NSS, Christ College Vizhinjam, organized a training program for the students on July 30, 2024, in the Audio-Visual room. The program was coordinated by Ms. Raji, a representative of Venganoor Gram Panchayat, with the help of Technical Assistant, Ms. Anju.

The major objective of the program was to involve students in the betterment of society by educating the people around them. Increasing digital literacy by educating them on the subject and making them capable of handling new technological advancements, thereby improving their lives, was set as the goal.

The program started at 2:00 p.m. with Ms. Pooja Suresh of S3 Psychology welcoming the gathering and starting the training program with the NSS Song.

The session was addressed by Ms. Raji, alongside Ms. Anju, instructing the students on what they were supposed to do in the voluntary program. The students were briefed on their tasks, as well as the online application through which they could enroll themselves. She led the students throughout the session, clearing their doubts while hyping them up. She instilled the glory of social service in the students, invigorating their morale and motivating them, reawakening their passion to serve their community. As expected, many were eager to participate and make use of this opportunity to improve their homeland.

The program ended at 3:30 p.m.
