The concept of alumni association evolved for needs from both the ends, i.e academicians and
professionals,in the aim of building a bridge between college life and career life,so that the fresher
graduates are made proactive to face the current challenges of competitive professional world.The idea
took shape and formation of Alumni Association turned into reality.
The Alumni Association of Christ College Vizhinjam was formed on the 10th December 2022,named as”
CHRISA” in the presence of Adv.Fr.Thomas Cheppila CMI manager cum director ,Dr Joseph K A
principal and faculty members and many enthusiastic former students of the college.
The welcome speech for the occasion was given by Ms Aswathy J S from Department of Commerce.The
presidential address was orated by Mr Abu Thahir N ( President of Executive Committee Member).Post
that ,Adv Fr Thomas Cheppila CMI proceeded with inauguration ceremony and inaugural address
.Followed by a felicitation speech from Dr.Joseph K A .Introduction of Committee. members and oath
taking ceremony succeeded .Finally a vote of thanks was given by Mr Govind J S ( Treasurer ).
This was followed by experience sharing sessions, sharing memory videos, and cultural programmes .
