The Orientation Programme on ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) was successfully conducted at Christ College, Vizhinjam, on February 7, 2025, at 2:15 PM in the Auditorium. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Commerce and Lakshya, aiming to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of ACCA certification and its career prospects in the finance and accounting industry.

 

The session was led by Mr. Goutham A.L., a Career Portraying Trainer from Lakshya, who shared valuable insights into the ACCA qualification, its global recognition, and the professional opportunities it offers. He also addressed students’ queries regarding exam structures, career paths, and skill development essential for success in the field. The programme was well-structured, engaging, and informative, ensuring active participation from the attendees.

The event was coordinated by the Centre for Placement and Career Guidance (CPCG), with key organizers Ms. Remya R.T., Ms. Aswathy S.A., and Ms. Lekshmi Chandran C.P. Their efforts in planning and execution contributed to the smooth flow of the session. The programme received an overwhelmingly positive response from students, who found it highly beneficial in shaping their career decisions.
